I'm back full time at work for the next 2 weeks, so you know that that means... more Xanga updates!

I'm bored, so here are some things about me that you might not know:

1. Each morning I eat a banana.  I could say that it's because bananas are healthy, but nope... it's because bananas are the fastest, easiest thing to eat.

2. My first album was Snoop Doggy Dogg's Doggystyle tape.  Yea, dat's rite, I be down wit tha LBC since tha start, ni**a!  haha

3. I've never smoked a cigarette in my life.

4. When I'm sitting down at a table to eat at a cafe or restaurant, I almost always face the door.  The times when I don't do that are when someone already sits down in that position or when some loser actually follows the same rule (which has happened before!)

5. My left thumb can bend in an odd way.  I think I'm double-jointed.

6. I'm a fan of Apple products.  I own a Powerbook and an iPod.  Chicks dig the Powerbook.  For real!  Girls come up to be all the time and are like... "hey baby, nice laptop!"

7. If you wanna start my night off right, hook me up with a Long Island.

8. I'm not fond of heights and big hairy spiders kinda creep me out, but my biggest fear of all is failure.

9. I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Back in the day, all the kids were scared of me cuz they knew I could kick their ass.

10. Blue is my favorite color.  Here's a random sample of just how much I like blue: I'm wearing a white and blue shirt, blue jeans, and shoes with blue on them, drinking from my blue Nalgene bottle that I just pulled out of my blue backpack while writing this entry for my blue web page with a keyboard and mouse located on a blue mouse pad.

11. I don't watch too much TV, but when I do, it's probably tuned to Sportscenter.  In fact, I'd bet that more than 50% of the time my TV is on, it's turned to sports.

12. Birds flying overhead make me nervous, because there's no telling when they'll poop on you!

13. I don't believe in just walking down a set of stairs.  You should always sprint down them or at least maintain a brisk, breakneck pace.  This is the result of years of running down the stairs in my house.  When people are blocking my path down the stairs by walking leisurely, I just wanna dropkick them in the head.

14. You can't always tell how I feel by the way I act.

15. I'm really oblivious to the people around me.  When I'm walking along, I could be staring right at a friend and not even know it.  So if you've ever seen me and thought that I was ignoring you, I'm not!  I have tunnel vision focus to my destination.

16. I hate beans.

17. I'm really loyal to my friends.  If you get on my good side, I will go far out of my way to help you out.

18. Procrastination should be my middle name.  That reminds me... better go get those Christmas presents!

19. One of my spare-time hobbies is producing hip hop beats.  Here's an example clip.  If you know a rapper or singer who needs original beats, send em to me.

20. I'm not perfect and I never will be.

Well, if you made it this far, you must be even more bored than I am!  Enough about me... what's one thing I about you that I might not know?

I came up with the name urbanrice one night while half asleep. I wanted a catchy name for my site, but that was easier said than done. All the domain names I initially thought of were already taken. In fact, the .com version of urbanrice was already taken as well. Eventually, I settled on urbanrice.net as the name of my new domain.

The "urban" comes from my city lifestyle and the "rice" is a nod toward my ethnic background.
